The set design is beautiful, the drowned city of New Orleans looks stunning and the interiors are lavishly dressed. But looks can only go so far. While Reminiscence isn’t as bad as that flaccid finale, it is a film that completely wastes its potential....

Snakes I wasn’t a big fan of last week’s episode. The fantasy story felt awkwardly implemented next to the subplot of Jerry and the talking cat. Thankfully, Rick and Morty peels off the proverbial corpse of last week’s episode to deliver a classic dose of sci-fi humour, one that intertwines a clever amount of time travel references with topical issues including race and extinction. The episode itself starts innocently enough, with Rick hitting a flat tyre out in space....
A Magical Adventure On the surface, Roki looks like another simplistic point and click adventure game. The early hours of the title certainly give that impression but Roki quickly breaks free from these shackles to deliver something much more memorable. There’s a lot of really imaginative and interesting ideas here, alongside a story that begins as a simple rescue mission and evolves into something far more profound and poignant. While the title still suffers from the same issues this genre has had in the past, along with a fair amount of back-tracking late on, it’s easy to overlook in the wake of such an engaging story....
Burn The Books After its surprisingly enjoyable first episode, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung returns for another slice of romantic drama, one peppered with enough humour and plot developments to keep you entertained until the end. The episode itself begins with Prince Lee convincing Goo to admit the truth to the crowd. With a heavy heart, she heads outside and reveals that she’s not really Maehwa. Of course, she’s met with inevitable hostility which she deflects onto Prince Lee, telling them all that he’s the real Maehwa....

Drywall Guys Back for another week, Room 104 returns with a simple tale and one of the better stories of this anthology this season. Through narration, we begin with a tale about Greg and Randy. They’ve been rooming together for two weeks but Randy’s sleepwalking causes a rift to grow between them. Greg suggests waking him up midway through his episodes but Randy warns against it. Apologizing for constantly waking him up, Greg grins and hides his disdain but even nice guys have their limits....
